CVE-2026-110008 1 Fastify 1 Fastify/oauth2 2026-10-21 4.2 Medium
@fastify/oauth2 is a Fastify wrapper for OAuth2 login flows. In versions 7.2.0 through 8.3.1, the state and code-verifier cookies are set without a Path attribute at a login route with two or more path segments, while the clearing step at the OAuth callback writes them with a root path, so the original cookies survive the callback and the documented single-use guarantee for the state value does not hold. A state value an attacker learns stays valid for the rest of the browser session, letting the attacker drive their own authorization flow in the victim's browser and sign the victim in to the attacker's account (login CSRF). The issue is fixed in @fastify/oauth2 8.3.2, and users should upgrade to 8.3.2 or later. As a workaround, set an explicit cookie path so the set and the clear name the same cookie.
CVE-2026-97997 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio_ring: fix stale descriptor flags after a failed packed add In a packed ring the AVAIL and USED bits sit in the descriptor itself, so writing them makes that descriptor available. Those bit combinations flip meaning on every round of the ring, tracked by a wrap counter, so invalidating or validating a descriptor means inverting both bits. Commit 1ce9e6055fa0 ("virtio_ring: introduce packed ring support") has virtqueue_add_packed() make every descriptor of a chain available as it maps the chain, and write the head last. The device consumes the ring in order and stops at a head that is not available yet, so it never reaches the rest. When vring_map_one_sg() fails partway, unmap_release unmaps the segments and restores avail_used_flags, but the descriptors it wrote to in the ring stay marked with AVAIL and USED bits. The head is now the only entry that keeps the device from consuming these stale entries. For example, the ring would look like this now. Z - pre-previous command A - previous command B - aborted command C - current command [A1 DONE] [A2 DONE] <C1 EMPTY> [B2] [B3] [Z1 DONE] When the driver now attempts to issue the C command, the next add starts at the same head as B. If C spans less descriptors than B, there is no end marker because AVAIL and USED bits were still in place. And that means the device will start interpreting these stale entries (B2/B3) as another command entry, which then blocks the queue. This effect typically happens in swiotlb configurations under memory pressure, because vring_map_one_sg() can then fail with larger I/O requests which then leads to command abortions. There are broadly 2 ways to avoid leaving those flags behind: 1) Defer those flags too until the chain is complete. 2) Rewrite those flags for the previous wrap counter. Implement the second option in both packed add paths. The first option traverses the chain a second time on every successful add. The second option invalidates all added descriptors when any add fails. With this patch applied, a packed virtqueue keeps completing requests after a failed add.

E.g. we have the following dirtied range (4K blocksize 4K page size): 0 16K 32K |//////////////////////////////////////| | Pre-allocated | And the range [0, 16K) has a preallocated extent. - Enter run_delalloc_nocow() for range [0, 16K) Which found range [0, 16K) is preallocated, can do the proper NOCOW write. - Enter fallback_to_fow() for range [16K, 32K) Since the range [16K, 32K) is not backed by preallocated extent, we have to go COW. - cow_file_range() failed for range [16K, 32K) So cow_file_range() will do the clean up by clearing folio dirty, unlock the folios. Now the folios in range [16K, 32K) is unlocked. - Enter extent_clear_unlock_delalloc() from run_delalloc_nocow() Which is called with PAGE_START_WRITEBACK to start page writeback. But folios can only be marked writeback when it's properly locked, thus this triggered the VM_BUG_ON_FOLIO(). Furthermore there is another hidden but common bug that run_delalloc_nocow() is not clearing the folio dirty flags in its error handling path. This is the common bug shared between run_delalloc_nocow() and cow_file_range(). [FIX] - Clear folio dirty for range [@start, @cur_offset) Introduce a helper, cleanup_dirty_folios(), which will find and lock the folio in the range, clear the dirty flag and start/end the writeback, with the extra handling for the @locked_folio. - Introduce a helper to clear folio dirty, start and end writeback - Introduce a helper to record the last failed COW range end This is to trace which range we should skip, to avoid double unlocking. - Skip the failed COW range for the e ---truncated---

libexpat 2.7.2 through 2.9.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability because XML_ParserReset zeroes the direct byte count but never offsets tracked heap allocations. Attackers can submit a large XML document so later documents on the same reset parser fail with XML_ERROR_NO_MEMORY until it is recreated.
CVE-2026-98595 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 3.3 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udp: remove a disconnected socket from the 4-tuple hash table A UDP socket bound to a specific address and port keeps its entry in the 4-tuple hash table after it is disconnected: sk binds to 127.0.0.1:21001 sk connects to 127.0.0.2:20001 // filed in the 4-tuple table sk disconnects, connect(AF_UNSPEC) // still filed, peer now 0.0.0.0:0 __udp_disconnect() takes a socket out of that table only as a side effect of ->rehash() or ->unhash(), and it skips ->rehash() when SOCK_BINDADDR_LOCK is set and ->unhash() when SOCK_BINDPORT_LOCK is set. commit 6996a2d2d0a6 ("udp: Unhash auto-bound connected sk from 4-tuple hash table when disconnected.") fixed the same end state for a wildcard-bound socket, by a path this one does not take. The entry is counted whether or not anything hits it. hash4_cnt on the hash2 slot stays raised for as long as the socket lives, so udp_has_hash4() keeps sending every packet for that address and port through the 4-tuple lookup first. On IPv6 it can also be hit. __udp_disconnect() does not clear sk_v6_daddr, so udp_v6_rehash() files the entry under the peer the socket was connected to with a zero dport, and inet6_match() compares that same field: a datagram from the former peer with a zero source port matches, and source port zero is accepted on receive. On IPv4 the peer is cleared, so a match would need a zero source address as well, which the routing layer rejects as martian. The stale sk_v6_daddr is a separate defect, not addressed here; removing the entry closes this path either way. The entry can also be relocated. __udp_disconnect() clears sk_bound_dev_if, so a subsequent SO_BINDTODEVICE calls ->rehash(), and because the receive address is still specific udp_lib_rehash() moves the entry instead of removing it, into the bucket that (rcv_saddr, num, 0, 0) hashes to -- a pure function of the address and port, so every socket reaching this state on one address and port collects in one bucket. The bucket cannot be chosen from outside, as udp_ehashfn() is seeded with a per-boot secret. This last one became reachable only with commit 644f9108f3a5 ("udp: Make rehash4 independent in udp_lib_rehash()"), which moved the hash4 handling out of a branch a disconnected socket does not take; the stale entry itself dates from the commit in Fixes. Take the socket out of the table before __udp_disconnect() runs, while it still matches how it was filed. This also reaches the wildcard case ahead of udp_lib_rehash()'s udp_unhash4() branch, leaving that branch unreachable from udp_disconnect(); removing it belongs in net-next. udp_disconnect() and udp_abort() are the only UDP entries into __udp_disconnect(), which is shared with raw, ping and l2tp sockets that are not struct udp_sock: ping_prot.obj_size is sizeof(struct inet_sock), so udp_hashed4() on one would read past the allocation.
CVE-2026-98439 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 6.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb/server: cancel async requests when closing connection An async request may still be waiting when a connection is closed. This can stop the connection from closing. Cancel active async requests before waiting for them to finish.
CVE-2026-68091 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: wacom: stop hardware after post-start probe failures wacom_parse_and_register() starts HID hardware before registering inputs and initializing pad LEDs/remotes. Those later steps can fail, but their error paths currently release Wacom resources without stopping the HID hardware. Route post-hid_hw_start() failures through hid_hw_stop() before releasing driver resources. This issue was identified during our ongoing static-analysis research while reviewing kernel code.
CVE-2026-109869 2 Nodejs, Undici 2 Undici, Undici 2026-10-19 7.5 High
undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 6.23.0 through 6.29.0, 7.18.0 through 7.30.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its fetch() implementation crashes the Node.js process when a malicious server returns a response with more than five content codings and closes the connection before sending the body. undici rejects such responses because of a content-encoding limit, but it created the internal response stream before that check and returned without attaching an error listener or aborting the request, so the early close surfaces a content-length mismatch on the orphaned stream, which Node.js treats as an unhandled error and terminates the process. A remote, unauthenticated server can trigger this with a single response, even when the application correctly catches the fetch() rejection, resulting in a denial of service. The issue is fixed in undici 6.29.1, 7.30.1, and 8.12.2, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. There is no workaround.
CVE-2026-31668 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: seg6: separate dst_cache for input and output paths in seg6 lwtunnel The seg6 lwtunnel uses a single dst_cache per encap route, shared between seg6_input_core() and seg6_output_core(). These two paths can perform the post-encap SID lookup in different routing contexts (e.g., ip rules matching on the ingress interface, or VRF table separation). Whichever path runs first populates the cache, and the other reuses it blindly, bypassing its own lookup. Fix this by splitting the cache into cache_input and cache_output, so each path maintains its own cached dst independently.
CVE-2026-23445 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: igc: fix page fault in XDP TX timestamps handling If an XDP application that requested TX timestamping is shutting down while the link of the interface in use is still up the following kernel splat is reported: [ 883.803618] [ T1554] BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffffcfb6200fd008 ... [ 883.803650] [ T1554] Call Trace: [ 883.803652] [ T1554] <TASK> [ 883.803654] [ T1554] igc_ptp_tx_tstamp_event+0xdf/0x160 [igc] [ 883.803660] [ T1554] igc_tsync_interrupt+0x2d5/0x300 [igc] ... During shutdown of the TX ring the xsk_meta pointers are left behind, so that the IRQ handler is trying to touch them. This issue is now being fixed by cleaning up the stale xsk meta data on TX shutdown. TX timestamps on other queues remain unaffected.
CVE-2026-112180 1 Misp 1 Misp 2026-10-19 N/A
MISP contains a data integrity flaw in its event deletion logic. When a user deletes an event, several associated records are not removed from the database, leaving them as orphaned entries. The affected record types include event report tags, event graph entries, proposal (shadow attribute) correlations, fuzzy ssdeep correlation chunks, and attachment scan results. These orphaned records may contain sensitive threat intelligence data such as correlation mappings, scan results, and report metadata that should have been removed along with the parent event. Their persistence beyond the intended deletion lifecycle creates a risk of unintended data retention and potential information exposure if the records are reachable through other application queries or administrative interfaces. Preconditions: - An authenticated user with sufficient privileges to delete events in MISP. - The event must have associated reports, graphs, correlations, ssdeep chunks, or attachment scan results. Impact: - Residual sensitive data persists in the database after the parent event is deleted. - Accumulation of orphaned records over time may contribute to storage bloat. - Orphaned records may be inadvertently exposed through other data-access paths that do not validate the existence of the parent event. Affected versions: <2.5.48
CVE-2026-98774 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 3.3 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rust_binder: cancel deferred work items in thread exit If there are deferred work items on the thread todo list, then they are not cleaned up in the Thread::release() method. Thus, update the code to clean up the work items even if they are deferred. This can happen if the thread dies while it has an active outgoing transaction.
CVE-2026-98558 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: flush skb_defer_nodes in dev_cpu_dead() When a CPU goes offline, dev_cpu_dead() drains its softnet queues (completion_queue, output_queue, poll_list, process_queue, and input_pkt_queue), but leaves net_hotdata.skb_defer_nodes untouched. If oldcpu goes offline while holding pending skbs in its skb_defer_nodes lists (e.g. below the sysctl_skb_defer_max >> 1 IPI threshold, or if the IPI races with CPU teardown), those skbs remain stranded until oldcpu is brought back online. If any of these skbs hold page_pool fragments, page_pool_destroy() will stall indefinitely waiting for inflight pages to be returned when a netdev or driver is torn down while oldcpu is offline. Additionally, if smp_call_function_single_async() fails in kick_defer_list_purge() because the target CPU went offline, reset defer_ipi_scheduled to 0 so future IPI kicks are not blocked when the CPU comes back online. Also, if oldcpu was the last online CPU on its NUMA node, drain that node's slot across all CPUs so no skbs deferred from that node remain stranded on idle remote CPUs (or if the node itself is subsequently offlined). Finally, in skb_attempt_defer_free(), re-check cpu_online(cpu) and whether the caller migrated CPUs after llist_add(), flushing the node list if so, to close the preemption TOCTOU race against CPU/node teardown.
CVE-2026-98449 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-19 6.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: delete compound mids on send failure before unlock When sending a compound request fails, smb_send_rqst() kicks off a reconnect. compound_send_recv() still has those mids on pending_mid_q, but it unlocks the server without removing them first. During reconnect, cifs_abort_connection() walks pending_mid_q and runs each mid callback. With no response yet, those callbacks return credits and drop in_flight. Then compound_send_recv()'s send-error path returns the same credits again. in_flight ends up decremented twice and smb2_add_credits() WARNs. syzbot hits this during SMB2_negotiate when the socket send fails. cifs_call_async() already calls delete_mid() before unlock on send failure. Do the same for compound chains and set cancelled_mid[] so the out: path does not delete them again.
CVE-2026-109276 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-10-18 5.3 Medium
ImageMagick before 6.9.13-57 and 7.x before 7.1.2-32 contains an incomplete cleanup flaw in the JNG decoder that fails to remove temporary files when processing crafted input. Attackers can submit crafted JNG files for processing to repeatedly leak temporary files, consuming disk space and degrading availability.
CVE-2026-102030 1 Juniper Networks 2 Junos Os, Junos Os Evolved 2026-10-17 7.5 High
An Incomplete Cleanup vulnerability in the rpd process of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a configured MVPN neighbor to cause a denial of service via a BGP MVPN update when an inter‑region segmented VRF with 'protocols mvpn inter-region-template' is configured.
CVE-2026-19740 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-10-16 6.5 Medium
The Link Layer Control Procedure (LLCP) implementation of the Zephyr software Bluetooth LE Controller retains the receive node that carried an accepted LL_PHY_UPDATE_IND so that it can later be reused for the host notification when the update instant is reached (llcp_rx_node_retain() in subsys/bluetooth/controller/ll_sw/ull_llcp.c, and the node is deliberately not recycled while marked NODE_RX_TYPE_RETAIN). The invalid-PDU arms of llcp_lp_pu_rx() and llcp_rp_pu_rx() in subsys/bluetooth/controller/ll_sw/ull_llcp_phy.c completed the procedure via llcp_lr_complete() / llcp_rr_complete() without first releasing that retained node, so the procedure context — the only remaining reference to the node — was freed while the node was still held out of the receive pool. A peer device on an established LE connection can drive this deterministically and without pairing or encryption. Against a peripheral it sends LL_PHY_REQ, receives LL_PHY_RSP, sends a valid LL_PHY_UPDATE_IND with an instant a few connection events in the future (so the node becomes retained), and then, before the instant is reached, sends any other LL Control PDU such as LL_LENGTH_REQ; ull_cp_rx() routes it to the active remote PHY Update procedure, which takes the invalid-PDU path. The mirror case applies to a locally initiated PHY Update followed by an LL_REJECT_IND. In the default configuration (CONFIG_BT_ASSERT and CONFIG_BT_CTLR_ASSERT_DEBUG both default y) the violated invariant in llcp_lr_check_done() / llcp_rr_check_done() triggers a controller assertion, ending in k_oops() (or k_panic()) — a single crafted PDU sequence from radio range faults the device. With those assertions compiled out, each attempt silently leaks one receive PDU node and its memq link; because the controller receive pool is small (PDU_RX_CNT, driven by CONFIG_BT_CTLR_RX_BUFFERS, which defaults to 1) and each attempt costs the attacker only a reconnect, a few repetitions exhaust the pool and leave Bluetooth inoperable until reboot. On releases v3.4.0 through v3.7.x the assertion is never reached, whatever the configuration, so every attempt leaks silently. The impact is limited to availability: the orphaned node leaves no dangling pointer that is later dereferenced and is never delivered to the host, so there is no memory corruption or information disclosure. The same pull request applies the identical release to the Connection Update and CIS-create procedures, whose invalid-PDU arms had the same omission.
CVE-2026-19739 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-10-16 6.5 Medium
The Bluetooth Link Layer control procedure code in subsys/bluetooth/controller/ll_sw/ull_llcp_conn_upd.c retains the received RX node while a Connection Update / Connection Parameter procedure waits for its instant, so the node can later carry the host notification (llcp_rx_node_retain(), which marks it NODE_RX_TYPE_RETAIN and thereby suppresses the normal recycling in ull.c). The default: arm of llcp_rp_cu_rx() and llcp_lp_cu_rx() — the "invalid PDU, terminate the connection" path — completed the procedure without releasing that retained node. llcp_rr_check_done() then dequeued and freed the procedure context with ctx->node_ref.rx still pointing at the retained node, dropping the last reference to it. A peer device in radio range can reach this without pairing, bonding, or encryption. Against a peripheral, the peer sends a well-formed LL_CONNECTION_UPDATE_IND with an instant a few connection events in the future (the node is retained and the procedure enters RP_CU_STATE_WAIT_INSTANT), then, before the instant is reached, sends any other LL Control PDU such as LL_LENGTH_REQ. ull_cp_rx() routes that PDU into the active remote Connection Update procedure, which takes the invalid-PDU path. The central role is reachable symmetrically after accepting an LL_CONNECTION_PARAM_REQ, and the local-procedure variant is reachable with LL_REJECT_IND. With CONFIG_BT_CTLR_ASSERT_DEBUG enabled (its default), the resulting state violates the invariant asserted in llcp_rr_check_done(), so the two-PDU sequence produces an immediate fatal error in the controller. With those asserts disabled, each occurrence permanently loses one node from the controller's small fixed RX pool (sized from CONFIG_BT_CTLR_RX_BUFFERS, which defaults to 1); repeating the sequence across reconnections exhausts the pool, after which the link-layer receive path operates on a NULL node. The impact is an unauthenticated, remotely triggerable denial of service persisting until reboot; there is no memory-disclosure or memory-corruption consequence, since the leaked node simply becomes unreachable.
