CVSS v3.1 |
| Double Free and possible RCE vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server with the HTTP/2 protocol.
This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: 2.4.66.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.67, which fixes the issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: server: avoid double-free in smb_direct_free_sendmsg after smb_direct_flush_send_list()
smb_direct_flush_send_list() already calls smb_direct_free_sendmsg(),
so we should not call it again after post_sendmsg()
moved it to the batch list. |
| Successful exploitation of the
string injection vulnerability could allow an attacker to obtain memory address
information or crash the application. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
pinctrl: cirrus: cs42l43: Fix double-put in cs42l43_pin_probe()
devm_add_action_or_reset() already invokes the action on failure,
so the explicit put causes a double-put. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
apparmor: Fix double free of ns_name in aa_replace_profiles()
if ns_name is NULL after
1071 error = aa_unpack(udata, &lh, &ns_name);
and if ent->ns_name contains an ns_name in
1089 } else if (ent->ns_name) {
then ns_name is assigned the ent->ns_name
1095 ns_name = ent->ns_name;
however ent->ns_name is freed at
1262 aa_load_ent_free(ent);
and then again when freeing ns_name at
1270 kfree(ns_name);
Fix this by NULLing out ent->ns_name after it is transferred to ns_name

| Format string vulnerability in BMC PATROL Agent before 3.7.30 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in an invalid version number to TCP port 3181, which are not properly handled when writing a log message. |
| The format string protection mechanism in IMAPD for Perdition Mail Retrieval Proxy 1.17 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via an IMAP tag with a null byte followed by a format string specifier, which is not counted by the mechanism. |
| Format string vulnerability in TIBCO SmartPGM FX allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in unspecified vectors. NOTE: as of 20071016, the only disclosure is a vague pre-advisory with no actionable information. However, since it is from a well-known researcher, it is being assigned a CVE identifier for tracking purposes. |
| Format string vulnerability in the ext_yahoo_contact_added function in yahoo.c in Miranda IM 0.7.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a Y7 Buddy Authorization packet with format string specifiers in the contact Yahoo! handle (who). |
| Format string vulnerability in the ws_addarg function in webserver.c in mt-dappd in Firefly Media Server 0.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a stats method action to /xml-rpc with format string specifiers in the (1) username or (2) password portion of base64-encoded data on the "Authorization: Basic" HTTP header line. |
| IBM DB2 UDB 8 before Fixpak 15 and 9.1 before Fixpak 3 allows local users to create arbitrary directories and execute arbitrary code via a "crafted localized message file" that enables a format string attack, possibly involving the (1) OSSEMEMDBG or (2) TRC_LOG_FILE environment variable in db2licd (db2licm). |
| Format string vulnerability in the emf_multipart_encrypted function in mail/em-format.c in Evolution 2.12.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted encrypted message, as demonstrated using the Version field. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in NetWin Webmail 3.1s-1 in SurgeMail before 3.8i2 has unknown impact and remote attack vectors, possibly a format string vulnerability that allows remote code execution. |
| Format string vulnerability in Asterisk Open Source 1.6.x before 1.6.0-beta6 might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via logging messages that are not properly handled by (1) the ast_verbose logging API call, or (2) the astman_append function. |
| Format string vulnerability in the logDetail function of applib.dll in McAfee Common Management Agent (CMA) 3.6.0.574 (Patch 3) and earlier, as used in ePolicy Orchestrator 4.0.0 build 1015, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in a sender field in an AgentWakeup request to UDP port 8082. NOTE: this issue only exists when the debug level is 8. |
| Format string vulnerability in the Net Inspector HTTP server (mghttpd) in MG-SOFT Net Inspector 6.5.0.828 and earlier for Windows allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in the URI, which is recorded in a log file. |
| Format string vulnerability in the grant helper (polkit-grant-helper.c) in PolicyKit 0.7 and earlier allows attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via format strings in a password. |
| Format string vulnerability in the logging function in IBM solidDB 06.00.1018 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in the (1) user name, (2) peer name, and possibly unspecified other fields. |
| Format string vulnerability in MemeCode Software i.Scribe 1.88 through 2.00 before Beta9 allows remote SMTP servers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in a server response, which is not properly handled "when displaying the signon message." |
| The silc_asn1_encoder function in lib/silcasn1/silcasn1_encode.c in Secure Internet Live Conferencing (SILC) Toolkit before 1.1.8 allows remote attackers to overwrite a stack location and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted OID value, related to incorrect use of a %lu format string. |
